Suicide prevention takes a community. Our work is strengthened by the many organizations, professionals, schools, community groups, and individuals who share this commitment and work alongside us to promote connection, increase awareness, and prevent suicide in Chester County.
We are grateful to our partners for showing up, sharing their expertise, and helping us build a community where we take care of one another.
The 2024 National Strategy for Suicide Prevention, released by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services under U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, emphasized the importance of collaboration:
“No single sector, agency, or organization can prevent suicide or carry out the comprehensive approach alone. Only by working together with diverse public and private sector partners and across community settings can we achieve measurable and sustained suicide prevention impacts at all levels.”
